Making memories at Christmas

The holidays are a wonderful time of the year. They bring out the best in people, especially when it comes to helping those less fortunate.

Even in this rather difficult economy, our loyal friends and donors made sure the children, once again, had a very merry Christmas.

It is our goal every holiday season to make sure the children have an enjoyable and memorable Christmas. This, of course, includes presents . . . lots of presents. We work diligently to ensure that each child receives three to four gifts. From wishes on gift lists to giving trees in places of employment to a holiday mail solicitation to unsolicited gifts, the children’s wishes were answered.

In all, nearly more than 1,500 presents were donated to the approximately 450 children in CONCERN’s care. With these gifts came memories that will last a lifetime. On behalf of the children, thank you for these many gifts, but more importantly, thank you for giving the children so many wonderful memories.
