Services (Mother/Infant in Maryland) Mother/Baby Program services are provided through CONCERN's Greater Berks and Maryland offices. When an adolescent parent is placed into the Treatment Foster Care Program, her baby can be placed with her. If the referring agency assumes custody of the baby, Traditional Foster Care Program per diem rates are charged for the infant’s care and services as listed under the Traditional Foster Care program description are provided to the child. If the referring agency does not assume custody of the infant, the mother/baby combination rate is charged and the infant does not receive individual casework services. The foster parents receive an increased per diem rate and the baby’s expenses for such items as formula, food, and clothing are covered. Click here for a printable Mother/Baby Program brochure |
