CONCERN has been selected as one of 25 charities to participate in the annual Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community. The Walk was scheduled to be held on Saturday May 30 at DeSales University in Center Valley, PA, but has since been changed to a virtual Walk that same day or a day that is convenient for the participant(s).
The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community is an annual fundraising event that benefits local health and human service agencies. Highmark Inc. coordinates and underwrites the cost of the Walk so that 100 percent of the money raised by walkers goes to the participating nonprofits like CONCERN.
The primary goal of the Walk is to help participating organizations raise money for their individual missions while the secondary goal is to energize community members to have a greater hand in their health by becoming or staying physically active.
As a virtual Walk, you may just enjoy a leisurely stroll at any location of your choosing or form a team with friends and family to enjoy each other’s company, while raising money for a cause in CONCERN.
Walk for your Health. Walk with Your Friends and Family. Walk for a Good Cause. Walk and Raise Money for CONCERN. So . . .
