Where does the donated money go?
Behavioral Health Fund was established in 2022 to meet the needs of clients who receive behavioral health services. This fund may be used to support urgent or emergency medical and special needs of clients receiving behavioral health services. These funds are reserved for our clients who are most in need.
CONCERN Fund is a discretionary fund giving CONCERN the flexibility to meet the rapidly changing needs we encounter at the present as well as in the future. Funding would improve CONCERN’s capacity-building abilities and physical infrastructure including program expansion, facility expansion, and updating and to meet training needs and technology advances. All contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
SHARE Fund is a discretionary fundraised by CONCERN sites for CONCERN sites/programs that allow for specific site activities. The primary purpose of this fund is to provide meaningful experiences for the children and youth in care.
Special Needs Fund was created to enhance the quality of life of the children by helping them participate in many of the traditional experiences of family and community life. Typical requests fall into the following seven main categories: education, camp, recreation, lessons, excessive medical/dental, personal care kits, and life books.
STAR (Supporting Teens After Release) Fund is named for those teens “aging out” of the foster care system to independent living. A client application process is used for the purposes of providing dollars for post-secondary education, training and employment necessities, and housing expenses.
