Quality Time

Dollars donated to CONCERN help us meet the diverse needs of our children and families. All proceeds from CONCERN’s various fundraising efforts are allocated into one of CONCERN's funds.

Please be sure to tell us which fund listed below you want your donation to benefit - indicate during the financial transaction

  • Behavioral Health Fund -supports clients receiving behavioral health services by covering urgent needs like emergency medical costs, basic necessities, or critical supports when no other resources are available. Example impact: A donation may help cover a client’s emergency medication, transportation to therapy, or essential medical supplies during a crisis.

  • CONCERN Fund -Provides flexible support to strengthen programs and infrastructure, allowing CONCERN to respond to evolving needs, expand services, invest in technology, and support staff training. Example impact: A donation may help upgrade program spaces, support new services, or improve technology that helps teams serve families more effectively.

  • Mary Beth Hughes Scholarship is a scholarship in memory of CONCERN's late Vice President, Mary Beth Hughes.  Five $1,500 Scholarships will be available to children in CONCERN's foster care or adopted through CONCERN's adoption program prior to their high school graduation and are pursuing post high school education or training. 

  • SHARE Fund -Supports site‑specific activities that create meaningful experiences for children and youth in care.Example impact: A donation may fund group outings, celebrations, or activities that help children feel included and connected.

  • Special Needs Fund -Helps children access everyday experiences and essential supports related to education, recreation, health, and personal care. Example impact: A donation may provide school supplies, camp opportunities, dental care, life books, or recreational activities.

  • STAR (Supporting Teens After Release) Fund -Assists youth aging out of foster care with education, employment, and housing needs as they transition to independent living. Example impact: A donation may help pay for job training, work attire, housing setup costs, or post‑secondary expenses.
