Your Donation Makes an Impact
The Special Needs Fund was created to enhance the quality of life of the children by helping them participate in many of the traditional experiences of family and community life. Typical requests fall into the following eight main categories: education, camp, recreation, lessons, excessive medical/dental, personal care kits, Life Books, and other needs as they arise.
The STAR Fund (Supporting Teens After Release) is named for those teens “aging-out” of the foster care system to independent living. A client application process is used for the purposes of providing dollars for post-secondary education, training and employment necessities, and housing expenses.
The CONCERN Fund is a discretionary fund giving CONCERN the flexibility to meet the rapidly changing needs we encounter at the present as well as in the future. Funding would improve CONCERN’s capacity building abilities and physical infrastructure including program expansion, facility expansion and updating and to meet training needs and technology advances.
The SHARE (Sites Having Additional Resources Everyday) Fund is a discretionary fund raised by CONCERN sites for CONCERN sites/programs that allows for specific site activities. The primary purpose of this fund is to provide for meaningful experiences for the children and youth in care.
The Behavioral Health Fund provides financial assistance to behavioral health clients who are most in need. This fund may be used to support clients with meeting their basic needs to help them through urgent or emergency situations.
