Some roles are visible, some aren’t—but the outcome depends on everyone showing up, communicating, and taking responsibility for what’s theirs to do. No one wins alone. And no one position carries the whole team. That’s how I view leadership. Too often, leadership is reduced to a title or a corner office.

But.....we still had numerous accomplishments and I am proud of CONCERN's team! It was a challenging year for  CONCERN - Professional Services for Children, Youth and Families  and, honestly, for most nonprofits. Between state and federal budget shutdowns, Medicaid changes, policy shifts, implementation of a new EHR, and rising insurance costs, there were moments when the headwinds felt constant.
